Italian and Spanish government bond yields climbed

Italian and Spanish government bond yields climbed as fears that Greece could default next month spurred traders to book profits after a recent run in non-core euro zone debt.

The yield on the benchmark 10-year Italian bond rose 10 basis points to 5.77%, while the corresponding Spanish bond yield rose 5 basis points to 5%, the highest since late January
