NEWS ALERT : Trump to Impose 25% Tariff on $200 Billion of Chinese Goods
President Trump said he planned to increase tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods from 10% to 25% on Friday, as negotiations for a U.S.-China trade deal are set to resume on Wednesday.
In a tweet, Mr. Trump said the tariffs were "partially responsible for our great economic results," and that while the trade talks continue, the negotiations have progressed "too slowly."
